When opening a newsdemon.com account I was emailed a user name/password which didn't work so I contacted newsdemon's live support. Here is a transcript of that first live service chat session:

Curly Surmudgeon: You've piqued my curiousity, are both accounts new or is there another "Curly Surmudgeon" subscribed to newsdemon?
Owen: We will get back to you through email within next 24-48 hours
Curly Surmudgeon: Uhm, does this mean I can't login for 24-48 hours?
Owen: No we have to forward this issue to higher department they will take care of it
Curly Surmudgeon: Not a great beginning of a new relationship. I'm being charged for time I cannot use...
Curly Surmudgeon: You avoided my inquiry about the two accounts too.
Owen: We apologize for the inconvinience caused
Owen: Is there anything else that I can help you with?
Curly Surmudgeon: Yes, answer my question.
Owen: Sorry for the Inconvenience caused. I need to Forward this issue to our higher department. They will investigate on your account and get back to you through e-mail within next 24-48 hours.
Curly Surmudgeon: You're still avoiding my question.
Curly Surmudgeon: What is the problem? I'm a systems administrator working in a number of *nix's so don't speak down to me.

Owen:*When ever we fix the error of customers accounts we definitely sent a mail.

Immediately after this my newsdemon account was canceled without notice.
Repeated emails to
support@newsdemon.com went unanswered. My credit
card has not be recredited.
You will note a pattern of evasive behavior. In multiple cases newsdemon ignored an inquiry or refused to answer. When pressed they disconnect and cancel your account.
I strongly urge others not to patronize newsdemon.com
