141
I'm sure everyone uses the 141 code to keep their phone number from being traced, but does anyone get the same message when keying in 141 before they even dial a number from their VM landline? "Sorry, the service requested is not available from this line" I thought it was a standard service, or are VM even charging for this now?

Re: 141
It is a standard service. Call customer services and ask or PM me your number and I'll have a quick look if you're ex-telewest.

Nor me - in fact I sometimes ignore calls which are shown as "Number Withheld" as they're either the office, or sales calls.

Re: 141
I have the feature permanently on so I don't need to dial 141. If someone rejects the call, their loss.

Probably find that with the new govt security, you'll have to not only dial your own number before you dial the number you are calling, but a personal PIN so that it can be correctly logged as well...

Re: 141
This is what annoys me about VM - why are there always little bugs that you need to ring someone to fix
