How much did 50meg cost?
Can I just ask how much did it cost existing customers with Virgin?
what did it cost them for the 50meg broadband?
Just rang them up about it now that i can get the 50meg in my area and was quoted £19 a mth on my current package, or if i signed a 12mth contract they would do it for £10 a mth this was no problem and asked to be upgraded only to be told that it would cost me a one of payment of £50 for the activiation!!
Has anyone else had the charge? or has anyone managed to have it wavered?

Re: How much did 50meg cost?
Besically they are charging everyone that £50 install, even me as a new customer they charged £80 for my installation (but then got £50 credit for ordering online).

50Mb is £50 activation and £30 install you got it free as promotion but the £50 will stand if you want it get it today as you will get the install free. dependent on your package depends n the cost max it should cost is extra £15

Re: How much did 50meg cost?
So have they dropped the £30 install charge or is this just a special time offer? I phoned up 2 weeks ago and was told it was £80 in total. Would be interested if it was £50.

Re: How much did 50meg cost?
Mine cost ZERO ! No need to pay £80 one off fee. I got 50Meg for £43 a month deal for 12 months (I am happy with it)

Re: How much did 50meg cost?
Can we not get into this again... Basically he had it, canceled, got it again and was refunded his £80 the first time when he canceled and they re-activated it for free, thus he essentially never paid the £80 setup/activation.
