Cool monitor trouble

have just changed my tv which i used has a monitor now i cant get my pc 2 work i put my old monitor on but this only works in safe mode

If your old monitor is not 'plug & play' it may need a driver loading on the computer.

Re: monitor trouble

Lower the screen resolution. I think safe mode defaults at either 640x480 or 800x600.

If the resolution you were using on the TV is higher than what the monitor can handle, the monitor wont load anything.
