Trouble in Belfast Area

Is anyone else having trouble in the Belfast area? Our Tv and Internet hasn't worked since Friday and a friends internet stopped working last night.

Can anyone also give any tips on how to deal with the terrible customer service? Our service stopped working last Friday and the timeline has been like this:

Friday: Service stops working, we phone up and they promise the send an engineer out on Monday. We give them our phone number and they promise the ring us an hour before the engineer is due to go out so we can get out of work.

Monday: No phone call, get home and the service is still not working and we have a message in the door saying we are getting charged a tenner for not being home.

We ring up, give off and get the tenner taken off and another engineer booked for Wednesday.

Wednesday: Get my brother to get out of uni for the engineer. As soon as he is at our house Virgin send out a text message saying there was a fault in the area which has been fixed and they have cancelled the engineer.

Get home and the service still is not working. Ring up again and the earliest they can send out an engineer now is Saturday - total joke.

Our service went out on Friday and we have done everything is seems by the book. Any suggestions?

Re: Trouble in Belfast Area

They can't get someone out before Saturday but have given us £11 (1/3) off our bill.

The worst thing about all this is that I'm betting the guy will turn up on Saturday for 5 mins and say there is nothing he can do and we'll have to wait more.
