The new traffic management is only a trial and when they introduced STM it has always been 7 days a week.

Haha really?
I've always downloaded what I wanted at the weekend without any hassle.
Thanks for the information.

Re: Speed Capping
Have these new trials started now? I'm in Wigan but it still seems to cap me before 4PM, but my internet released at 11 last night and also about a week ago, which made me suspect they have.
Thank you.

Re: Speed Capping
i know the feeling, UBR and STM is useless !!! I wait for BT to enabled (FTTC) up to 60Mbps then I will say goodbye to VM STM !!!

That is a general speed fault, not STM, as your upstream is not effected. This proves that it is not STM, but another factor.
