50Mbit Modem / Ambit 300 And P2P

Anyone seen their 50Mbit modem drop the connection and fail to come back until it's rebooted while running Usenet and/or P2P applications that are pushing the modem hard?

I'm looking like I've killed my 2nd modem in 3 weeks, needed 2 reboots so far today.

Stop it, you're making me worry that maybe it's not a good idea to keep mine in the loft.

I wonder how hot they run.

I've not had any problems like that, If anything It's been spookily quick lately (for quite a while Newzbin has been reporting 53.1Mbit).

Speed test sites as (un)reliable as ever though.

My arse!
