MOdem Configuaration

I had a replacement modem sent to me which I registered and can use the internet however the Modem configurations says

maximum upstream and downstream 0

i thought this was to show 2048000000 ( not sure if correct number of 0's) if you are on 20meg service or does it not show this in modem model 256 anymore

Tech support says its ok as I can download at 20meg after testing my connection and these configuarion settings are not used

Please can someone confirm if 0 is correct on 256 modem
