Re: STB Question

Only the V+ has HDMI since none of the others have a HD or upscaling function.

Re: STB Question

As you didn't actually specify that you were talking about VM, some people claim that the newer Sky+ boxes have HDMI. This sounded a load of nonsense to me and I've never seen any evidence to support it.

Re: STB Question

Virgin media I'm on about.

Problem is we got a 32 hd lcd on Friday for the bedroom, and because it's only scart connection for STB, the picture isn't that great, there is shadows if anyone moves on screen and blurry, i've read other posts that say, play about with tv settings, which i'm gonna try. It's just really annoying.

Thanks for replies so far chaps.

You don't need HD or even zoomed up SD to use component or HDMI. Low end STBs just don't have them to save money.

Re: STB Question

Or he/she could wait a few months based on today's news that the newer v+ is launching just to make it a bit more likely he/she would get one.
