I bought this from PC World a while ago, but I can't seem to get it working.

I'm using Windows Vista x64, and I've read there are compatability issues with this device...this is obviously the case. When I pug the device in, Vista makes a 2 or 3 USB flat same tone noise, which I presume means it knows something is there, but doesn't know what it is or what to do with it. It doesn't prompt me to install and it doesn't appear in Device Manager.

I have downloaded the 'BETA' x64 drivers from Pinnacle's website, and gone into Control Panel > Add Hardware and browsed for the .inf file. When I select it and press next, nothing appears in the device box, meaning I still can't install it.

The device works on my other Windows XP x32 hard drive, but I'm wanting to take that out so there's only the Vista drive in.

Is there any way at all to get this device working on Vista x64?
