Anyone Work For TicketMaster
Hi Folks,
Anyone on the board work for TM.
If so could you PM.
Have called them 3 times and each time i have been given a different version of what is going to happen with some excess tickets me and my partner have ordered (MJ).
Some people are being allowed to transfer the excess to a different card with a different address and others are being told no.
I have also been told by TM that because we booked in different names and on different cards using 2 pre order codes that we should be safe!!!
HELP!!!!!!! lol
Cheers

No.
They where bought first.
I got a second lot of 4 tickets that I don’t know what is happening with. Hence why they aint listed!!
Really not in the habit of ripping people off and don’t appreciate the assumption.

Re: Anyone Work For TicketMaster
Personally I wish that O2 and other venues operated a system where tickets would only allow you into the venue only if you could swipe the card with which they were originally booked. People who dilebrately buy concert tickets to sell at 10 times the face value make me sick. My wife is a MJ fan, and even with the presale code and spending days on the net couldn't find a ticket to any of the shows. No doubt because people like you bought more than they need to make a quick buck out of it. Genuine fans suffer because of it.

Did your ebay advert not have a £850 start price for bidding?

Why shouldnt people sell them, they are property like anythig else. You dont have to buy them and I certainly wouldnt.

Then at least have the balls to say you do rip people off as opposed to whining about how you dont.

No assumption made, so please don't start getting on your high horse with me.
My concern was that your eBay auction might be a bit of a non-starter if you were going to have trouble releasing the tickets at the end of it.
For the record I couldn't give two tosses what you do with your tickets, if you want to sell them on that's up to you. Also, if you're going to post questions like this on an open Internet forum then the chances are you're going to get comments/questions you might not agree with or like - might be an idea to drop the defensive attitude, or not bother asking the questions, if you're not prepared for them.

In addition to that though, I like the idea of official ticket exchanges so that customers whom can no longer make the shows can sale their tickets on to others. It's good because 1) You can transfer the ownership of the ticket to the new card 2) It puts a control on the price so no one can attempt to exploit others.
It's what Arsenal do with their tickets. You have a Arsenal Membership card and that is your ticket. It has an Oyster type system to allow you into the stadium. They have an official ticket exchange so that season ticket holders can sale their tickets, or for people who brought individual tickets and can no longer go.

Exactly, Like any other ticket tout your preventing others from getting tickets at the intended price and are trying to exploit their stupidity/desperation to make money. So it is a rip off.

Re: Anyone Work For TicketMaster
Anyway, sort of in Solventcandy's defence - this thread's not about the rights/wrongs of doing it, that's what the other thread's for - this is a request for advice from anybody that knows the way Ticket Master works.

Re: Anyone Work For TicketMaster
I cant see the problem, it is a matter of supply and demand, if what you want something you have to pay the asking price or not purchase the goods, not go around saying how badly you have been treated been by someone who saw the market first

Closed.
If you work for TM then PM the OP, nothing else needs to be said in this thread.
