Suspicious Package at Virgin Swansea
EMPLOYEES at the Virgin Media call centre in Swansea were quarantined for five hours today after postroom workers found a white powder in a package.

Re: Suspicious Package at Virgin Swansea
What a rotten thing to do. I'm assuming this was an attempt to scare the VM employees and I think that the person responsible is sick. I hope the police track them down.

I dont agree with this at all, but i think with many companies they treat their customers like a waste of space and people get so frustrated not getting anywhere they just flip out and see red and do something stupid to retaliate.

Re: Suspicious Package at Virgin Swansea
It was a disgruntled customer of which there are many getting their own back . I am sure a lot of people have wanted to do the same(get their own back not send talc through the post) . I am sorry for the fear the employees went through but it was harmless powder and they now have a good story to tell in the pubs over christmas.

Sad that people stoop to these sad lows to get their own back, personally I think the best way of punishing a company that shafts you is to take your money elsewhere.

Well you cant usually do that immediately cause you're tied up to the contract.

Well the contract works both ways, not that any large company would ever admit it. All you need is enough evidence that they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing and you have given them reasonable time to rectify the situation, and then they have breached the contract.
All these big companies seem to think that contracts work one way against the consumer, so what we need is some customers to stand up and say "enough is enough".
