Intermittent Call Dropping

Hi,

Are there any engineers who could do a quick check for me please? We have a NTL Business fibre connection with leased line+phone. After coming back from the Christmas break staff are complaining that calls are being dropped randomly.

I've checked our Avaya box which seems okay, but it's such a bag of c**p that I wouldn't be surprised if it was the issue. It would be nice to verify that Virgin / NTL don't have a know problem at their end before I go digging too far.

Thank you

edit: p.s. we are connected to the 'azte' UBR, which is strange as we're only 1 mile away from Staverton. Is Staverton residential customers only?

Re: Intermittent Call Dropping

Is this still present?

What region of the country are you in?

Leased lines are probably BT's but you use our service (we bill you). All faults will still come through ntl:telewest.

Call business faults on 0800 953 2800 option 2,1. That's telewest business faults. If this is the incorrect region then they'll transfer you to the relevant one.
