Slowed Down - Hayes UBR

'lo all,

i'm going to guess you've all heard these questions before, but i'm going to ask them regardless as there are many threads about them which don't quite clear it up... so here goes.

bout a month ago my interweb went down for the day, not sure if it was scheduled or not i didn't check but when it came back up i had left the 82.44 range which i had been in for many years and moved to the 92.239 range...

my speed then dropped to about 18Mbit... then to 16Mbit... then to 14Mbit and then on the weekend down to 9Mbit... this evening it's been between 9-13Mbit average.

now as you can imagine, paying for 20Mbit and getting less than half at times takes the **** a little bit so i'm not happy, the signal strengths are ok, my modem is one of the new ambit modems, an engineer has come out and scratched his head, and i'm now going to shout some more tomorrow because i'm fed up with it.

anybody else on the hayes ubr with speed problems... and does anybody know if something will be done about it, because i have a feeling this could be related to the 4-10 upgrade, and severe congestion as a result of!

cheers
