Loading error DLL

Hi all

When I log on I get the following error box

Error loading C:\PROGRA~MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\MSABAR.DLL

The specified module could not be found

Any ideas on how to stop this........

Many thanks for your time

Mike

Re: Loading error DLL

As it's a DLL on your own system I'd suggest that it's a toolbar that's gone wrong on the install..

If it's one you installed then re-install or if it's adware/spyware then delete the directory (you might have to be in safe mode if the DLL is registered or use something like UNDLL) and also search in your registry for msabar.dll

Re: Loading error DLL

chances are its something in startup looking for a program you uninstalled but the start up entry is still there. Start run msconfig ad have a look in there for somthing pointing to it. Mywebsearch should be got rid of anyway. Run adaware and then spybot as a matter of course

I seem to think that Mywebsearch is some nasty parasite, see http://www.pchell.com/support/mywebsearch.shtml
