Vista No longer sees my PDA

Can anyone throw some light on this:

I recently plugged a Wacom Tablet into one of my USB ports. That was OK, but now, when I connect my IPAQ PDA to a port I get a message to say that the USB device is not functioning correctly and is not recognised. Since a daily synch is important to me this is BAD! Does anyone know how to get out of this problem.

When I connect to another PC the PDA is recognised OK.

Re: Vista No longer sees my PDA

Remove the sync software, reboot, re-install it and plug it back in? Can you not try switching 2 USB devices around to enable you to plug in the IPAQ elsewhere so Windows sees it as a brand new device?

Strange...a minute ago it was not seen and now it is. So the problem has solved itself for now

could be a poor connection in the USB socket on your PC? Does jiggling it round a bit make the PC complain?
