Potential Installation Problem??

Hi,

New to the forum so please forgive me if this issue has arisen before.

I live in a house, split into flats.

VM say my address is pre-wired although no-one in the address has VM installed. However, the cable has 2 problems as far as I can tell:

1) There is no omnibox - the cables simply goes to the 1st floor flat (I live on ground).

2) One of the cables from the street - the thin one - is severed such that 2 of the 4 wires inside are cut.

My question is, will the VM installer be able to connect the services I want or will there be potential issues given the shoddy work done before?
