Xbox Live warriors

Just playing Street Fighter 2 online. Was in a traditional quarter match with 2 Americans. I beat them both and all of a sudden I am a old guy because I know how to play the game.

And then the swearing. Is there any need?

Certainly not but its all to common these days. Just be happy in the fact you beat these guys so bad they felt that had to resort to petty name calling to make a point. At the end of the day fool's will be fool's all we can do is laugh at them.

Well said icestar, there is absolutely no point in getting dragged into some pointless shouting match with a prepubescent moron, its exactly what he wants, its far more satisfying to continue "whooping his butt" and listen as his blood pressure goes through the stratosphere.

Used to get that problem when I played Pro Evo 6 on 360. Used to really annoy me as I would do nothing wrong and just for winning I would get neg Rep.

I also hate people that quit mid game just cause they aren't winning. There are some really sad people on Live.

I have had plenty of abuse and neg rep left when I beat people or leave a game due to the childish nature of their behaviour. I know leaving isn't exactly grown up either, lol.

xbox live is one of the best gaming creations ever but it's also one of the worst because it allows you to come in contact with the most annoying people on the face of the earth.

lol the same happens to me. I used to (and still) get really annoyed when people quit right at the end of a match

If i know i'm going to beat someone easily i get nervous about scoring too many goals because i think they will quit. I try and hold back to let them think they still have a chance and stay in the game lol

That seems to be the problem in most two player games, it used to happen to me in Command and Conquer, in the end before I started a game I'd say to whoever, lets stick it out to the end, irrespective if you know your going to lose, some did but most didn't, very infuriating.

I would have thought that MS/Game developers had put a simple rule in when people quit before the end of a game - if they did they would always get a 'lost' result while the other player always gets a 'win' result?

That is the case with Pre evo however theres also a glitch were they can force the quit onto you and you lose the game. Its very strange. And very annoying.
