Cannot send or receive emails in the DA7 area

Hi,
Wondering if anyone out there is VM land is aware of a problem sending and receiving emails in the DA7 area (south east/Kent area). Internet access to surf is ok though.
VM not be very helpful, all they say is they are upgrading the system and can't say when normal service will be resumed.

how about trying webmail? i dont know if youre in an ex-tw or ex-ntl area but the webmail address i have is http://webmail.blueyonder.co.uk (may be different for ex-ntl)
