Tilt-Shift Photogrpahy
Well, not so much photography but manipulation.
I've been messing with this in Photoshop for a couple of days now - lots of fun.
Quote:
Tilt-Shift miniature faking is a creative technique whereby a
photograph of a life-size location or object is manipulated to give
an optical illusion of a photograph of a miniature scale model.

Re: Tilt-Shift Photogrpahy
Nice!
Here's my stab - with a twist - i've used it to bring depth to a picture.
Sorry about the size, it works better at this size though.

Re: Tilt-Shift Photogrpahy
That's really good.

I've used the magnetic lasso to blur and create depth before, but using the gradient obviously adds the progressive blur so the depth can be made to look natural.

Re: Tilt-Shift Photogrpahy
you can use the magnetic lasso and then feather the selection too. works in the same way as gradient.
