CoD4 online

Is it crashing for anyone else? Whenever I go into an online game it crashes my 360 and goes some weird colours.

Re: CoD4 online

Try other games, to see if fault with Live or game itself, do a network test from the dashboard.

Just tried to play a few games and am getting the same thing. Going onto Live is ok, but when it actually enters a match everything freezes and my screen goes weird. A bug in the map update possibly?

I think it must be... I thought it was just a problem on the new maps, then I tried the old ones and it happened again.

Yeah, I have th enew maps, but I was trying to play the old ones. Got about 2 minutes into one game and it all went black. Rebooted. Went back in, everything went red and green. Rebooted. Everything went checkered. Rebooted, got about 1 minute into the game and it froze with a slight checkered pattern visible.

Just so you know cimt, MS are now now offering a 3 year warranty on all RROD, so if you have brought your 360 in the last 3 years its now covered for this. This was due to 360s having a 16% failure rate in the first year, with over half of those being RROD, compared to PS3 and Wii having only a 3% failure rate in the first year.

Re: CoD4 online

Well, my 360 RROD'ed last night. I have placed a support call and got my shipping label. Luckily I am on holiday for 10 days so won't miss it too much. I may have had to do something drastic otherwise, like take my PS3 out of it's packaging and actually use it!
