Don King presents: Prizefighter
Anyone gonna be getting this on Friday? Graphics don't look the best but it's something totally different from fight night. The documentary style presentation looks nice from the vids/pics i've seen.

Re: Don King presents: Prizefighter
The list of fighters doesn't look the greatest but there's a few worth noting;
Ponce de leon
Calzaghe
Macranelli
Dawson
Pavlik
Eubank
Benn

Nowhere near as good as FN but FN was basically as realistic you could get with a boxing game.
Prizefighter is a drop down in graphics and you have to use the buttons to punch (I think EA has some TM on the 'stick flick' or something)
It takes some getting used to but it like it, reviews have been poor but can't really judge a game until you've played it yourself. Rent it first.

Re: Don King presents: Prizefighter
I thought it was a pile of poop.
Bought it on friday then took it back yesterday. Its NOWHERE near as good as Fight Night or even the previous Knockout Kings. I thought the AI was poor, the graphics were poor and the controls awfull.
The actual story mode looked good , just a shame that the boxing controls werent

Any boxing game compared to FN3 would be poop, but seeing as round 4 isn't out until mid-2009 i'll stick with this atleast until i've finished career mode.
