playing back CD jpegs

Have Toshiba dvd player which will play or not play back CDs with Jpegs on them. book says will not play back over 2.2mb or more, as disk is only 700mb I think this is covered

Also won`t play back progressive format ???
upper limit is 6300 x 5100 dots

How do I tell if these are ok on my pics?
Lastly has any idea why is should offer the helpful message disk error!

Yes this I understand, What I am asking is why I would get ( on some disks only ) Disk error message,I far as I can tell is was copied in the same way .

Is there something I should look out for on the settings?

Some players will be picky and only like some brands of CDR.
