Relocating a modem

Hi,

My son wants to connect his xbox 360 to the net for online gaming. As my modem/wireless router is on a spliiter from the downstairs V+ box, can I just move the whole lot to his room and split off his stb. Would it be that straightforward??

Zinglebarb is the one to ask about this, having said that there are quite a few people on here that could help you.

Any members about that could help please?

Re: Relocating a modem

Yes easy enough as I have just done this myself over the weekend just remove the splitter and connect to the other outlet and add the modem and stb.

I just relocated my V+, modem and router
