My wife and I visited Rishikesh years ago. The Beatles certainly had an impact - loads of places were advertising the link. In spite of the commercialism, it is a beautiful place and well worth a visit if you get the chance.

Ironically John "got his" in 1980 at the age of 40, long before Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (aka Sexy Sadie).
