Lightbulb New Laptop/Desktop Pc

Ok, I have the same problem as SB_07 Im looking for a new PC, but it can be a laptop or a Desktop.

I need quite a big Hardrive, and a good graphics card and RAM
I dont mind about XP or Vista.
My price budget is around £300-£600

Ive had a quick look round the Internet, but cant find the right thing for me.

Anyone help me choose?

Thanks in Advance !

If you can then build your own. Then you can have exactly what you want in your PC. Look at Zingles guide and it will explain all you need to know. It may work out that you get more for your money

At your budget you should be able to afford a Core 2 Duo machine

Or if your willing to go a little bit over you could have a Core 2 Quad machine

If you dont want to build your own this is good except for the gfx

Its also out of stock tho

it would be if it were a 9.6Ghz chip, pair of 8500GT's in SLi (was it worth it?).

it would be if it were a 10.6Ghz chip, and again an 8500GT(why?) and value memory. Best statement is near the bottom of the page " Note - The Processor speed shown is an estimate of Ghz when both cores are running efficiently" I thought it was supposed to be a quad - albeit 2 duals put together with scrunchy paper and sticky back tape

Re: New Laptop/Desktop Pc

leave ebay alone.

buy a tower you get better bang for bucks If you could build your own for 600 (ish)quid you could have a Q6600 8800 GT 2 gig of ram big hdd dvd rw yadda yadda.
If you can find someone to build it for you ? if not you still want at least a C2D cpu and the gfx or equil.

Buy the bits bring em here and ill chuck em together for you for a nominal fee lol
