I'm thinking of getting a Sandisk Sansa e280 MP3 player, & I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any "horror stories" about it - any reason why I shouldn't get it?

For anyone who's curious, you can download the brochure for it here: linkage [9.49MB PDF]

A friend of mine got one, turned out it was cursed - because the factory that made it was built on top of an ancient Indian burial ground - so during the night, the Army of the damned came out of the player and slaughtered all the people in the house.
Suffice to say they did not give it 5 stars on amazon when it came to review time

Sure you're not getting it mixed up with the e260 4GB model?
