Connection Timed Out issue

Since the middle of last week, I've not been able to access my own website (www.hadtoplayon.com), along with the email server, FTP server and control panel of my host from my Virginmedia cable connection. I just get a Connection Timed Out message. I'm still able to access all the above via a different ISP so it's not a problem with my host's server. Access to all the above terminated suddenly while I was in the middle of uploading some files via ftp. I put in a help ticket with my host (lunarpages) and they asked me to do a traceroute, results of which follow:

I am a complete novice when it comes to technical issues, so I would be really grateful if anyone could give me some assistance in determining what could cause this error and how I can rectify it. Thanks in advance.

Do you still have an issue? I can see the site from my work network and can also see and run trace routes from my home PC (using VM BB) in the Reading area. Although my 10th "hop" in the list is the same as your 8th "hop" (4.69.132.109) I then take a much shorter route through the American hops to the end location. Try again and see if you get a different route - the trace route you provided certainly doesn't imply a fault on your connection.

Yes, still having issues using VirginMedia (other ISP still accesses it fine). Here is my latest trace route done just a few minutes ago. (Had to download a 3rd party traceroute program as the Windows one has now decided to close itself down before I get a chance to copy/save/print it).

Sorry to be a pain, but has anyone got any idea what could be the cause of my problem? I'm reluctant to call VM's 25p/min helpline when I'm not even sure whether the problem is with them, my host or something with my computer.

Just had a thought - would it be possible that my hosting company has experienced problems by spammers using the same ISP as I do and have therefore placed a block on anyone using that ISP?

- as mentioned above the routing seems to be completely different to yours, with fewer hops, so it is possible that is where the problem lies - the difficulty is identifying exactly where, is it level13? as if that is the case, than afaik it is out of VM's control???

I've just this minute had an email response from a CSO at VM who says she has no problems accessing my site from a NTL connection so that at least rules out my last theory about my host blocking my ISP. The CSO suggested I tried turning off my firewall which I did, but it made absolutely no difference.

I have been experimenting trying to log on to other websites I know are hosted at Lunarpages but I can't access them either.
