How much should I pay??

How much per month should I be paying for the following services?

1. Virgin Broadband Size: M

2. Digital TV Home including 1x V+ STB and 1x V box

3. Virgin Phone Size: M

Just been told over the phone that the package is £49.99 for broadband and TV then add £11.

And £30 for the boxes??

Is this true???

Please help as I think that if I up the TV package the boxes could come down in price.

Re: How much should I pay??

I noticed on there site yesterday that they are charging for extra outlets now as well as extra box fees (think it was £5 per additional outlet, £10 for an additional V and £5 for an additional V+).

Checkout for BB M, TV XL and Phone M + V+ & V box attached.

Re: How much should I pay??

If in doubt do what I just did and go VIP for £85 per month. One price all the services maxed!! That solved this problem and we now know where we are!!

Re: How much should I pay??

I have made a few changes to my bill etc. to save money and will likely be able to advise. It would help if you could provide the beakdown of your last bill. It needs to show charges for the boxes, etc. but doesn't need to include call charges or pay per view. This will enable me to suggest the best way of saving.

If you haven't done so already then it may be worth considering paying your V+ fee upfront. This currently costs £100 but does mean that your charges for the box will be greatly reduced or abolished (dependent on your TV package).

Also do you have any interests in Sports as from 26 July Setanta will be available to all XL TV customer free. So this may be another reason to upgrade.

I can say that I have managed to reduce my monthly subs from £70 to £35 by selecting the right package for me.
