Re: CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) 1.40.520
IIRC when I used this, a while ago, I was a little naiive in letting it delete all cookies - not a problem, as such, but people should make sure they have a record of their login details for sites, when that happens
Good program - but can be a little too 'powerful' if you aren't careful - imo take a copy of the registry before you do anything potentially drastic

Good advice.
Also to note if you don't want your login details deleted from sites when you're using Firefox then you need to untick saved form information which you'll find under applications/Firefox Mozilla in the CCleaner options. I believe the same applies to Internet Explorer but the option to untick is called Auto Complete Form History. The Opera browser isn't effected as the login details are stored in its inbuilt Wand.

CCleaner can keep a list of cookies for the sites that you loginto most often.

Well said. Sometimes people don't read into it and end up complaining when they lose stuff.

A very good piece of software this
I use it all the time and run it every night before turning off my computer.
As MadGamer says, you can add the cookies you want to keep so that they are safe and all other ones will be deleted.
The software is also good at clearing up your system and finding old redundant files.
