Re: Sky BB

If that's your speed test you need to clear your temp files. Sky BB is ADSL and will depend on a lot of things, any one of which can seriously impact performance. Have you tried putting your info in here:

Re: Sky BB

Mine's perfectly fine. Nice stable 8 mbps connection, with fairly decent pings.

But as Paul says above, ADSL depends on different things & can be quite variable (line length is a big factor, as is "noise" [ e.g. from poor extension wiring etc.]).

Have a read of these:

btw, the speed test results you posted are not accurate... I doubt you'd have a 412Mbps connection with anyone

Re: Sky BB

Like we have already said it will depend on a number of things including:
distance from exchange
quality of equipment in exchange
quality of line out of exchange to DP
quality of line from DP to your house
quality of line in house
quality of equipment on line
to name but a few.

Ask your friends down your street

Why did you create a new thread ? http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/63...sp-gaming.html

This is basically the same subject so why ?
