Can I run a second tv from my TiVo box
Hi, I've currently got 2 TiVo boxes in 2 downstairs rooms. I've also got a tv upstairs that was running off a roof Ariel which seems to have broken. So rather than replace the roof ariel, is there anyway I can run the tv upstairs from one of the TiVo boxes downstairs using some wireless device.
Another question I have is that I want to move one of my TVs downstairs to the other side of the room. I've heard that there could be issues using a cable longer than 5m from the wall point to the TiVo box, but I reckon I need 7-10m, can anyone suggest if this length would work ok or would I need something else.
Many thanks in advance for any advice

Re: Can I run a second tv from my TiVo box
I have about 7m of cable inside my flat and then another few metres in the hallway and then a few more to reach the outside junction. Overall it must be more than 15m of VM cable.
If it's a HDMI cable you're talking about, you can even get 80ft ones.

Strangely someone asked nearly the same question yesterday. Read the posts from here onwards http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/11...l#post35750777
As for relocating a TiVo, an extra 10m cable isn't a problem at all if the job is done properly. Best to get Virgin in to do it. (They would relocate one TiVo upstairs too, if you wanted)
ps. Welcome to the forum!

Well, you pays your money and takes your choice, as they say.
As quality is an issue, you need to pay in order to get the job done properly.
