ld-20 samsung smt2110c

Hi all.

Round at a friends house watching their dogs whilst they're on holiday. They've got a samsung 2110c set top box that just displays LD-20 and does nothing else... Internet works fine upstairs (posting from that now) any ideas to the problem and possible fix greatly appreciated....

Re: ld-20 samsung smt2110c

No easy quick fix if a power cycle doesn't sort. The box probably isn't getting an in service signal from Virgin Media. That could be a network service issue, or might mean that your friends don't actually have a subscription.

Re: ld-20 samsung smt2110c

Hi had this problem last week and I believe it was a local service issue as there were service loses nearby and it came back on as they were finished.

Turn off the box wait 30 seconds then restart, if it still sticks at ld:20 repeat but check all connections, which would appear to be fine if the broadband works....is this on an ethernet cable from the box ??
