BT Robbers

I got a brand new place asked my ISP to sort Broadband they said it would be three weeks I complained they said it was down to BT, I rang BT to complain they said have dial up from us for the 3 weeks @ 1p per min and we will sort you a discount.
I agreed and thought only a short time so it will be ok, It was not good from the start conection took ages and when you come off it was hard to get back on, So once you got on you tended to leave it on as as it was only 60p an hour, I rang BT to complain again and they said it would reflect in my bill. Today I got my bill which included the 19 day dial up even though the dial up was on for max 4 hours a day it cost me £101.47, I have spent two hours today speaking to them via India, now they have gone back on everything they promised and it turns out it was 4. ?p a min, I could have got like I told them in the beginning unlimited dial up for a month for £7.99.
BT are a complete rip off.

I just read this back, I don't complain on a regular basis honest I sound a real misery.

Re: BT Robbers

BT today offered me a £10 discount I told them to stick it and I will see them in the County Court, Its £80 to take them and I have mailed them telling them they have 7 days to reduce the bill by £80 or I will take them to Court.
The man I spoke to in the local County Court said it would cost them up to £400 to instruct a Solicitor to defend it so they would probably want to settle out of Court.
Watch this space.
