I have been seeing all posts here, who says have lots of problems and bugs etc... Someone says that it is very slow and wait for 5 minutes for the guide menu to go something else. It worried me.
I got it this morning and I tested it - it worked really well! It is faster than my old box! I am very happy with it.
Guess what? I thought TVdrive would record only digital subtitles on digital channels ... and I just taped a channel (not digital) and put 888, then I play the video, and I forget to put TV ... then the old 888 subtitles was turn up while I was playing!!
I was so relieved because I want to record all Colin Fry programmes on UK Living channels and I can view subtitles. Finally!
But the problem is ... all replay programmes, tv, and film on demands are not subtitled - most of them are not.
VIRGIN MEDIA!!!!! PLEASE WAKE UP AND PROVIDE SUBTITLES AND SIGN LANGUAGE ON ALL PROGRAMMES AND ON ALL CHANNELS - EQUAL AS HEARING!
