Arrow Purchasing a new router.

OK. I'm going to go wireless (again). I've got a router sitting right here, It's a Linksys WRT54GS bought in April '06 and I've sort of bricked it. Down everything on the websites to unbrick it, still no luck. Just buying a new router tomorrow. Thinking of the Linksys WRT54GSUK one. Is that any good? I need reviews.

Re: Purchasing a new router.

The Linksys WRT54GSUK is the one most recommended here. There have been a few threads about routers the last few weeks and it seems to be the top pick.
I bought one a fortnight ago, this mail is being typed on the wireless laptop while I'm sitting up in bed. Bliss.

Re: Purchasing a new router.

Have you followed the debricking guide which involves shorting pins inside the router? I bricked my WRT54GL twice on the same day I bought it, no way I was going to spend another £70 buying a new one when I followed a guide and got it working again.
