Telewest under Vista

I have a problem connecting to my Telewest (Virgin) service now that I have installed vista, when i connect to the Webstar modem through ethernet on the network and sharing section it shows an image of the pc connecting to "Unkown network" then onto the internet which is shaded, does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks

Re: Telewest under Vista

Have you tried restarting the modem and checking that the network connection has not been disabled

Re: Telewest under Vista

Have you set the connection up properly? ie setting it as a private network etc?
At work at the moment and not entirely confident on how to talk you through this but I am sure there was something you need to set.

Also check the windows firewall isn't interfering.

Re: Telewest under Vista

I tried a beta of vista, and an RTM version, and NTL connected perfectly.
