Free HD films, not free, check your bill!
On the 8th Feb when my NTL TVDrive box changed over to the Virgin Media Branding I had a quick look on the on demand section, I went straight to the HD films bit to see if anything was there.
In Teesside we only had access to Pirates of the Caribbean HD (other people on here said there were other films) and on the 8th it was showing as Free so I had a look at it for a few minutes then turned it off, i showed it to my girlfriend when she got in from work also.
Just got my bill today and i've been charged £4.50 a go for the "free" film twice. I rang up Virgin, spoke to someone in billing who agreed that I had only watched the film for 2-3 minutes then said on this occasion I will be refunded.
I said hang on a minute, it was showing as free so she got on the offensive saying well no one else has called in to say they've been charged. She basically didn't believe me. I've never bought anything from on demand in the 11 months i've had cable, i would have noticed if it had said that i will be charged for it, i'm that tight!!!
Check your bills people!
