Using Virgin Media Website.

As a just signed up member I have been looking at the VM website and would like to find information on items such as what you get installed, where they will install it, etc.

I cannot find much information in this area.

Can anyone offer a suitable link?

Re: Using Virgin Media Website.

if you mean locality, Postcode checker should be there.

but if you mean internally within the house the techs will install it in anywhere..

..if it does require extensive cabling they will inform you it could cause issues with regards to bb speed (assuming its bb u get installed) and give you the choice.

if when you have it installed and you require it to be moved (i.e. STB or cable modem) then you'll be charged £25 quid for a tech to come and do it.

Re: Using Virgin Media Website.

If you are lucky, 2 people turn up & say 'where do you want it, m8'

you say 'come in, I'll get a brew on & show you'

- provided you don't have issues like needing to go too high, e.g. into loft space, long runs, (as mentioned above), etc - you 'should' be ok.

I have one cable set coming straight in the front of the house, and the other going round the outside to the upstairs back bedroom, internal cables are clipped to the skirting.
