Any E-Bay gurus about?

This has been driving us nuts for the last hour now!

We're trying to list an item but keep getting an error back along the lines of:

{ Id : SYI.BIZ.659, Severity : ERROR=3, Parameters : {}, Correlations : {} }

So far, a Google has found that it could be any of a number of random things from a bug in E-bay's own code, to having too many picture (tried stripping them all out), to it incorrectly picking up something in the ad as javascript, to a combination of features triggering it. i.e. It could be anything

The only thing that is apparent is that from mid december time onwards this has affected a lot of people and there doesn't appear to be a regonised workaround or solution for it.

Help! Please!

Re: Any E-Bay gurus about?

Thanks for the response Pia. We've not used the Turbo Lister before. Isn't that for business sellers to get lots of items posted?

We eventually got the item listed by setting the layout to standard rather than using one of the more fancy ones - apparently that clashes with some of the picture features. Assuming that's the one people have been moaning about in the E-Bay forums all December you'd think they'd have worked it out by now as it's costing them money!

Re: Any E-Bay gurus about?

IE7.

Haven't tried it with other browsers but I've seen reports of it affecting IE and Firefox.

Anyone can use Turbo Lister, it's free and is very easy to use, plus you get to use listing designer and it doesn't charge. Also you can do your listings and keep them saved for uploading later on.
