No Internet AL4

My wide has phoned me to say that there was problems with sending a large file just after 1pm, and now she cannot connect to the internet at all.

When she types in the modem address, she can bring up the status page, but not all the statuses are 'Done', so to me, it appears that there is a problem with the connection to NTL. Is anyone else experiencing problems.

Re: No Internet AL4

Ask her if the green 'Ready' light on the modem is solid or flashing.
My bet is it is flashing... then ring tech line...

No it was not flashing, it is out, and a tech support person is coming out tomorrow.

Silly question, is there anyway I can ping the modem from my works network, as I believe you can find the IP address from the modem config page?
