Multiple viruses/trojans and ?worm

HELP!!

I only have 10 mins before all my applications are closed and my puter freezes. Am infected with something bad. Every time I switch on, McAfee detects New Malware.J, ss.exe.exe has to close down, taskdir.exe tries to get past my firewall and it then gets infected with downloader.zq
The new malware file cannot be cleaned and taskdir can't be deleted. I've taken the liberty of doing a hijackthis log. Can u help ?

Bootup in safe mode and do the scan, or try typing SHUTDOWN -A in START - RUN. This should give u time to detect and delete the trojans etc.

According to the HJT analysis page, you have the 'abwiz' trojan.
There should be a removal tool at symantec.
TBH, the 'safest' way to recover is a fresh install, but I guess that might not be practical!
