Recording Digital Broadcasts Via STB

I want to record a forthcoming radio show that is being carried by one of the digital stations I can receive via my NTL STB.

What's my best route for getting the highest quality recording ?

If I record the show via my DVD Recorder onto a DVD-R and then rip the audio via my PC, would that give me a good result ?

That should work.

Alternatively you may be able to directly transfer, using phono leads, the STB audio to your PC's soundcard, and record on that.
