IE7 is already a critical update, but as with any update you can "hide" it so it doesn't bug you to install it

On a side note, what' happened to the WGA tool, has it been scrapped.
I went to Windows Update after a fresh install, and couldn't find it to hide (even read through all the updates it wanted to install, to see if it had been hidden in the Microsoft garble)

void afaik the WGA has already been applied to you when you went to the mickeysoft update site. it installed as soon as you went to install the "new" Windows update clients.

I'm not talking about the validation tool, I mean the WGA tool, that places an icon in the system tray which calls home

Re: 6 More Patches on Tuesday

Looks like my uptime of 12 days by then will be gone... Why oh why do they need a restart to get things working... I've never seen Linux doing that tbh...

Ah well.

Re: 6 More Patches on Tuesday

Void this is something I found on a forum I use

Nifty little program that will do a few things to help XP users & close a few security holes as well as dealing with Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA).
