PSP umb disks
Does anybody know if the UMB disks that work with the psp will be available as R/RW or can you only use the sony memory sticks

It's UM D.
And (due to Sony's piracy fears), I would say that the chances of them ever being available as a writeable media, is about as likely as Sony giving up the console 'war' to M$.

Dunno what the capacity of UMDs is, but you can get Memory sticks up to about 2 gig now, so there wouldn't really be a point.

THey are read only. If you want to put your own mp3s and mp4 videos on the PSP you will need to use the sony mem sticks. You can fit fulls movies on a 512MB card and they look good, so having a 2GB stick would be more than enough.
