Chelsea for a goat

How much would you sell your daughter for?

Former US president Bill Clinton has been offered 40 goats and 20 cows for his daughter by a love-struck African government official.

Mr Clinton was offered the deal on a recent trip to Kenya

Has the recent revaluation of the renminbi had any effect of the goat/cow/dollar exchange rates?

Wink Re: Chelsea for a goat

Yes, I think that would about cover it.

So if you know anyone that wants to start a goat's milk cheese & Dairy farm & is looking for a daughter I would be only too pleased to stump up the required amount of animals for them to take away mine. :-)

BTW, if that offer was for the Chelsea football club then it's way overpriced.

Back around the turn of the '80s a friend of mine was up in London with his sister (who was about 13 at the time) and apparently he was approached by an Arab guy who said "I give you £1,000 and seven camels for the little girl!"

She was happy when he declined, however then she thumped him when he made a counter offer of "make it £7,000 and one camel...!"

I would have thought she'd at least be worth 3 giraffes.
