Recommend graphics card...

Hi,

Can aoyone recommend a good graphics card for under ÃƒÆ’Ã†â€™ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…Â¡ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£100(is h) & a good website where i can get it.

I have a Dell Dimension 8200 (2Gb ram).

Not sure if you need AGP or PCI-E, nevertheless

I have the x700 pro pci-e suits me am thinking of x850 though just for the power aswell as a gig of ram.

how do I know whether I need AGP or PC-IE ???

A Google for "Dell Dimension 8200" shows it's a few years old, so it won't be PCI-E.

Many thanks everyone for the replies....

My prevoius graphics card the fan got gunged up with dust and stopped working... I think it cooked the chips on the board :-(

You may as well go for the 9800 pro then, under 90 notes.

Paul picked it and I paid for it!!! That is why it is a hunk of junk as I could not go on my retail therapy today ;(

the '9800 pro all in wonder' also comes in under 90 quid, that is a brilliant price for a great multimedia card.

- the only thing I would worry about is the power supply being up to it ???
