What is Huntley playing at...??
Quote:
Mr Coward - who gave Mr Huntley's account as he cross-examined a forensic expert - said the girls sat on either side of the bath, which had 18 inches of water in it as Mr Huntley planned to bath his dog.
|
Was he going to drown the dog? A normal bath is 13" to the over flow.
Quote:
Mr Coward said: "Mr Huntley was getting pieces of tissue or toilet paper, putting them under the cold tap to cool them and handing them to Holly.
|
Have you ever tried wetting toilet paper it goes to mush
Quote:
"On one of his turns from getting the wet tissue he slipped and it seems that he may well have banged into her as she was sitting on the edge of the bath, and she went backwards.
|
so she floats face up
Quote:
Mr Coward then told the court that Holly's fall into the bath had caused her friend to start screaming.
"Jessica stood up and started screaming 'You pushed her, you pushed her'.
|
that could happen
Quote:
"And he then turned towards Jessica and either with one hand or two, he's not sure, put his hands out towards Jessica, his memory is over her mouth, to stop her screaming.
"For how long he was in that position he can't say.
"But he was then conscious that Jessica was no longer supporting herself on her feet.

Have you every tried to hold a struggling child?

Re: What is Huntley playing at...??
What was the wet tissue paper to be used for (or was it cos one of them had a nose bleed?)
Where was the dog during all this? Obviously not in the bath.
Someone's sat on the bath and gets knocked so they fall in, has to be a pretty hard knock to knock them out.
Most people would grab the girl in the bath and ignore the screams of the other and make sure she was ok.

Seems a very strange defence, was abit taken aback today when he admits they died in his house while he was there but denies killing them.
I guess with the forensic's that will make some things undisputable you have to conceed certain things then build your case based on that.

This idiot deserves everything he is going to get inside and I do not have one ounce of sympathy for him. Never heard such a crock of sh*t in all my life......

Re: What is Huntley playing at...??
He is just a lying .**** and he knows it... he is trying to backtrack now and the ****er knows what he has done.
they should just hang the ****er and have done with it.
He knows he has been caught and so does his wifey... another lying bitch. They should string em both up facing each other.
In fact I wouldnt stop there I also beleive there were more people involved like the guy who claimed he saw a suspicious car with a man with two girls in it or something like that..
What person in their right mind hampers an investigation so much so that it cost hour of precious and valuable police time.
Huntley was similar in his mannnerisms as this other guy was...
I beleive it was a pedo ring and there are more who have got away with it.
Pedos would think twice if they were hung in public.

There has been no suggestion of paedophilia.
There is a difference between a child killer and a paedophile, but people seem to lump the two together.
As far as I know the guy who killed Sara Payne also wasn't a paedophile.
Personally if someone killed my daughter, the last thing I'd want is people suggesting she was also abused, her death would be more pain that I could cope with as it is.

Re: What is Huntley playing at...??
It seems to be a very calculated move to throw the whole case out of whack. I only hope that the jury is sensible enough to see the flaws in this scenario. I REFUSED to believe that a little bang can render a girl unconscious. However if he did push the girl and she banged her head hard enough on the other side of the bath side, then it could make her unconscious and therefore he'd be responsible for killing her.

Re: What is Huntley playing at...??
I served on a Jury last year. Whilst I thought the legal system was in a mess (loads of delays etc etc), I thought the actual Jury itself worked well.
I know we can not know everything that is going on in Court - I know from what I have read that the Jury I sat on would be looking at this latest evidence with very wide eyes indeed. Whilst no one should predict their verdict before all the evidence is put before them, I find it very difficult for any reasonable Jury person to be anything other disgusted that this has gone as far as it has.

Well i live in Cambridge and he did a special interview for Look East, which can only be broadcasted on Lokke East, and he said that the girls walked passed and asked if Mrs/Miss Carr was ok. Huntley then said she was "ok" and the girls walked off away from his house... HELLO now he is saying that they came into his house, woooo change of stories. We watched the 10pm news last night and couldn't believe the change in his story!!

Disagree...........
in both cases can you prove it didnt happen?
Just because evidence of abuse may have gone doesnt mean to say it didnt happen.
In Huntleys case there too many coincidences for my liking
1.Changes his name
2 Moves to a totally different part of the country
3. Tries his best to destroy the evidence
Typical pedo behaviours
Neither do I beleive this is the first time he has done something like this his actions are of a man trying to hide or run away from something.

Re: What is Huntley playing at...??
So he admits the 2 little girls died in his house, that he was the only one with them when they died & that he took the bodies burnt them, then put them in the ditch but he denies murdering them. He a bloody liar. 2 healthy 10 year olds donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t just die like that. Ok the girl might have fallen back & hit her head but unless she was pushed very hard she wouldnââ‚Ã⠀šÃ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t have been knocked out (& if she had the first thing any normal adult would have pulled her out of the water straight away). I hope they lock him up & throw away the key after what he had done to the little girls

Re: What is Huntley playing at...??
Strikes me there must be cast-iron forensic evidence against him and he's defending himself with this accident allegation.

I think it is because there is no way that they can determine how the died, that the defence did not throw in the towel and tell him to plead guilty. There is a 'chance' the Jury will buy the story ...
but would you ?!!

This other red car was a Huntly creation, not another guy.
I belive this is all a tactic to get a manslaughter conviction not a murder conviction, thus less time inside. With good behaviour he'll be out in 3.
