sick of COD
I am sick of it, I have been on this game for ages and have never known a game like it.
I am a good shot and in single player am doing very well even on hard.
Yes I am to die alot but sometimes this seems like they are using mods, even though I have that fancy nocheat app which claims to stop it.
I see someone and get about 3bullets ( and i aint slow i own on halo and single player ) yet they seem to get about 40 in me and I am dead, it seems like every one else even others getting owned can fire 100 times quicker then I can and it is driving me up the wall, I would like to learn with people who understand but no, I get kicked and banned because I cannot understand certain methods of gaming, or I did not kill someone when I easily had chance? the gamers on COD UO seem more unfair and self rightous ********* then on any single game I have ever had the displeasure to play in my whole gaming life time.
I have never had such abuse just for being new and asking questions, I am not abusive to these people yet I get banned for being new? if this is there attitude then I shall trade my copy straight in for a nice copy of something less used by the morons I have encountered so far.
I think I shall await the times when the people on here are using the game and stick to that.

Re: sick of COD
That's not very nice. I'm sure there are better public servers out there. Everyone has to start somewhere.
Patience is a virtue. The clan will probably be on our COD server in a little bit, once we've warmed up on MOH.

Actually I think you'll find that about 20 people already are.
It's called the [NTHW] PC Clan.

Re: sick of COD
I am using the public one as I assumed that the private one is closed to newbies who know nothing about the game and are not in the clan?

Re: sick of COD
Hubby works with a guy who is part of a 4 man team either MOH or COD they all appear from different locations but they are set up in one room and chat to each other whilst playing. Serious unfair advantage.

Re: sick of COD
Most clans and gamers will have a voice talk system so they can talks tactics and other rubbish. It's not unfair, it's part of online gaming. Team based games are then played as a team.
The NTHW clan servers are normally open to anybody to join in, but we reserver the right to boot people if it gets very busy and clanners want to join, or occasionally those who have very high pings that is creating a lag issue for everyone else. That is normal for most clans. Its very rare for us to make the server private.
You found us tonight. Hopefully you enjoyed it. You seemed to do OK.

Ditto that, I was following you in spectator mode on Peaks, apart from a couple of things we do differently I would say that you are / will be just fine, map knowledge and practice.

Re: sick of COD
Ack, you sneaky b*stards were getting some practice in before tomorrow, eh? Ne'er mind, I'm still gonna kill you all.
Saxo, don't let 'em get to you... sometimes yuo'll meet some real d*cks and you just gotta ignore 'em and not let them get the better of you. Don't stoop to their level.
CoD takes a little practice, but from the sound of it, you're already half way there. The more you play, the more you'll know the maps, and which weapons are better, ie Thomson on Carenten, etc...
Don't give up just yet

Re: sick of COD
It's happening in Swindon... all weekend. We're having a LAN party, so it won't be online.
