Changing homepage on win2k

In our canteen we have 2 internet-enabled PCs where staff can go online in their breaks. The homepage has always been set to www.118.com and this suits everyone, but recently some happy-clicker has gone and set the homepage to http://www.findthewebsiteyouneed.com/ which is full of pop-ups and spyware. IT aren't really interested in what goes on with these machines but does anyone know how to set this to a less-spyware-drenched site? I've tried going to sites such as freeserve and msn and selecting 'make this my homepage' but they just don't work.

To make any real changes on here you'd need administrator rights and of course no-one has these...help!!!

You could try sending yourself an email with the link:
file:///c:/
Then navigate to Regedit in the Windows directory.

Or copy and paste one of these:
file:///c:/windows/regedit.exe
file:///c:/winnt/regedit.exe

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main and change the key "Start Page" to www.google.com or whatever.

You may get around it if your admin are well not that good. Try clicking on help then "contents of index"

from their "options" and you will be able to get on internet options then. I take it you know what to do from their
